General Sherman’s battle flag was far more than a trophy. It stood as a defiant symbol of total domination, forged from the very banners that once rallied Confederate soldiers. By repurposing these symbols of rebellion into a visual declaration of defeat, every piece stitched together carried the bitter legacy of the Confederacy, transformed to mark an irreversible turning of the tide.
 
Sherman was far from perfect and his actions might not pass a morality test in 2025, but in an era when extremist groups like the Proud Boys, Patriot Front, and other shithead racist factions are clamoring to resurrect outdated ideology, we're happy to bring back symbols that represent the side that says, “fuck that.”
